It's almost time to go camping! We open on May 16, 2008 for the Summer Season.
GAS SAVING SPECIAL!! Gas prices are sky high and the added weight of your trailer causes your gas mileage to bottom out. We want to make sure that you can still enjoy camping this season so Idle Times Campground is offering a special to help you save gas. Bring your camper and leave it for any two weekends in May, June, September or October and pay only $95.00. Should one of the weekends fall on a holiday regular prices will be charged. So bring your camper, leave your camper and save your gas.
Welcome to Idle Times Campground. 50 campsites nestled in the mountains above the picturesque town of Washington, New Hampshire. We are a family friendly campground striving to offer a mix of scheduled activities and plenty of peace and quiet so you can relax. Our private beach on Highland Lake offers opportunities for boating, swimming, water sports and fishing. Many of our 45 acres are threaded with hiking trails, most following along established snowmobile trails, all of them excellent for mountain biking as well. Speaking of snowmobile trails, in addition to our summer seasonal sites we also offer winter seasonal sites. So if you are a snow bird and love to snowmobile, we've got a place for you.
We'll gladly host and cater your company picnic or family reunion. Just call us for details.
